Role Overview

Join our team as a part-time Childcare Substitute for Before and After School Programs for the 2025-2026 school year in the Peekskill City School District. In this role, you'll assist with hands-on activities, create a safe and fun environment, stay connected with parents, and adhere to established guidelines and policies.

  • Assist with curriculum-driven activities including fitness, STEAM, academics, and more.
  • Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children.
  • Communicate updates with parents via the Playground App.
  • Follow OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and school rules.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 18 and high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling job duties.
  • Strong people skills and professionalism.
