About Healthy Kids Programs

Healthy Kids is a rapidly growing childcare provider offering Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp Programs. They have over 100 locations and are committed to reinventing accessible and affordable childcare while fostering a supportive community.

Job Overview

This position is for Before and After School Programs in the Amsterdam School District, Amsterdam, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. Multiple roles are available including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
  • Provide a safe, fun environment and act as a positive role model for children.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school regulations.
  • For management roles, handle attendance, registration, and staffing duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Medically fit with a doctor's approval and free of communicable diseases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; warm, friendly, and reliable.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.
