Position Details
We are hiring multiple positions for our Before and/or After School Program at West Valley Elementary School, West Valley, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. Positions include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors. This is a part-time, non-exempt role with pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.00 per hour based on role, qualifications, and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, group activities, homework support).
- Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment while serving as a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents through the Playground App.
- Follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school policies.
- Some positions include management tasks such as attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Requirements
Applicants must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required. Candidates should be medically fit, friendly, reliable, and physically capable of performing duties including bending, stretching, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
