Job Overview

We are hiring for multiple positions for our After School Programs for the 2025-2026 school year at Oakside, Woodside, Hillcrest, and Uriah Hill Schools in Peekskill, NY.

Job Status & Compensation

Part-time, non-exempt. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour based on role, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities including homework completion).
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
  • For management positions, maintain accurate attendance, registration, and staffing records.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include being 18 years or older, holding a High School Diploma or equivalent, and ideally having experience with children under 13. Applicants must be medically fit, warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
