About Healthy Kids Programs

Healthy Kids is a rapidly growing childcare provider offering Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp Programs across 100+ locations. We are a certified benefit corporation committed to accessible childcare and creating opportunities for our team.

Position Details

This role is for the Before and After School Program at Rockwell Elementary School in Nedrow, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. Multiple positions are available including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Job Status: Part-time, non-exempt

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour (based on role, qualifications, and experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, program policies, and host school regulations.
  • Occasionally handle management tasks like attendance, registration, and staffing for certain positions.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus.
  • Medically fit and free from communicable diseases including TB.
  • Warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and prompt.
  • Able to perform physical tasks (bend, stretch, lift up to 50 lbs.).
