About Healthy Kids Programs
Healthy Kids is a fast-growing childcare provider with over 100 locations offering Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp Programs. As a certified benefit corporation, they are on a mission to reinvent accessible childcare and create opportunities where team members feel valued.
Position Details
Multiple roles are available for the 2025-2026 school year at Hillcrest Elementary in Peekskill, NY. Roles include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors with a pay rate of $16.50 - $18.00 per hour based on role, qualifications, and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, etc.).
- Provide a safe, healthy, fun environment and act as a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
- Follow state guidelines, program policies, and host school policies.
- Some positions handle management tasks such as attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Minimum Qualifications
- 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
- Medically fit and free of communicable diseases.
- Warm, friendly, upbeat, professional, reliable, and punctual.
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
