About Healthy Kids Programs

Position Overview

This role is for the Before and After-School Program team for the 2025-2026 school year at Grafflin, Roaring Brook, and Westorchard Elementary School in Chappaqua, NY. Positions available include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors with pay ranging from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework support.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school policies.
  • Some roles include management functions such as attendance, registration, and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus.
  • Medically fit and free from communicable diseases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
