Position Details

For the 2025-2026 school year, Healthy Kids Programs is hiring multiple positions including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors for their Before and After School Program at Mahopac Falls Elementary School, Mahopac, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, group activities, and homework support).
  • Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment, serving as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents using the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and school policies.
  • Some roles include management tasks like attendance tracking, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include being 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous experience with children under 13 is a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must be medically fit, warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and physically capable of handling job duties (e.g., lifting up to 50 lbs.).
