Job Opportunity

The Before and After School Program Staff role is for the 2025-2026 school year at Grafflin, Roaring Brook and Westorchard Elementary Schools in Chappaqua, NY. Multiple positions are available including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors. The role is part-time, non-exempt and pays $16.50 - $18.00 per hour based on role, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, homework completion).
• Provide a safe, healthy, fun environment and serve as a positive role model.
• Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
• Follow state guidelines, internal policies, and host school policies.
• For management positions, handle attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
• Medically fit to perform job duties without communicable diseases.
• Strong communication, people skills, reliability, and professionalism.
• Physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
