Position Overview
Join our Before and After School Program as part of the team for the 2025-2026 school year in Grafflin, Roaring Brook and Westorchard Elementary School located in Chappaqua, NY. We are hiring for various roles including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with hourly pay between $16.50 and $18.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment while acting as a positive role model for children.
- Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
- Observe state guidelines and adhere to program and school policies.
- For some roles, manage attendance records, registration, and staffing logistics.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physically fit and free of communicable diseases including TB.
- Warm, friendly, and upbeat personality with excellent people skills.
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
