About Healthy Kids Programs

Healthy Kids is a fast-growing childcare provider with over 100 locations offering Early Learning, Before and After School, and Summer Camp Programs. We are a certified benefit corporation committed to accessible and affordable childcare and team member growth.

Position Overview

This role is for the Before and After School Program at Honeoye Elementary School in Honeoye, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. Multiple positions are available, including Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Compensation & Job Status

Part-time, non-exempt positions with pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.00 per hour depending on role, qualifications, and experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment, acting as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family via the Playground App.
  • Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
  • For some positions, manage attendance, registration, and staffing functions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children under 13 is a plus, but not required.
  • Medically fit to perform job duties and free of communicable diseases.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with children, parents, and team members.
  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
