Position Overview:

The Before and After School Program Director is responsible for leading the Healthy Kids Program Site at the Pittsburgh Minadeo PreK-5 location in Pittsburgh, PA. You will manage operations, staff, and ensure compliance with state guidelines and internal policies while delivering engaging activities based on our curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide compliance with state guidelines and Healthy Kids policies.
• Direct engaging hands-on activities covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
• Manage essential tasks like attendance, registration, and staffing levels.
• Maintain communication with parents via the Playground App.
• Collaborate with team members and direct reports to ensure program quality.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a bachelor’s or associate degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services plus the required experience with children as detailed. Candidates must be medically fit, energetic, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
