Job Overview - Before and After School Program Director
Based at DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY, the Director will manage operations of the Healthy Kids Program Site. The role is part-time and non-exempt with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
- Lead hands-on activities including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
- Manage attendance, registration, and staffing to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate with parents via the Playground App.
- Collaborate with direct reports to address daily challenges efficiently.
Requirements & Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following educational and experience criteria:
- Two years of college with 18 credits in related fields plus two years of direct experience, including one year in a supervisory role.
- New York State Children’s Program Administrator Credential with required experience.
- School-Age Child Care Credential or another recognized credential with required experience.
- Associate’s degree in related field with required experience.
Additionally, candidates must be medically fit, friendly, reliable, and physically capable of handling job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
