About the Before and After School Program Director

Role Overview

The Director will lead the Before and After School Program at William E. Cottle Elementary School in Eastchester, NY, ensuring smooth operations and high quality experiences for children, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
  • Direct engaging hands-on activities covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
  • Manage operational tasks including attendance, registration, and staffing.
  • Maintain communication with parents via the Playground App.
  • Collaborate with direct reports and school staff for effective program delivery.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates must have relevant early childhood education credits, a Child Development Associate Credential or Associate’s Degree with appropriate experience. Physical capability to handle job duties, excellent people skills, and reliability are essential.
