Job Overview: Before and After School Program Assistant

This part-time role is for the 2025-2026 school year at Little Britain Elementary in New Windsor, NY. Assist with hands-on activities, create a safe learning environment, help with homework, and communicate with parents via the Playground App.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with hands-on activities following our Healthy Kids Curriculum, from fitness to STEAM and arts.
  • Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment where kids thrive.
  • Communicate with parents using the Playground App.
  • Adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school rules.

Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus, but not required.
  • Medically fit and free from communicable diseases including TB.
  • Warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and prompt.
  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
