Job Role: Before and After School Program Assistant

We are seeking passionate and energetic part-time Childcare Assistants for our Before and/or After School Programs in the Amsterdam School District in Amsterdam, NY, including McNulty Academy, Marie Curie Institute, Barkley Elementary, and Tecler Elementary.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework support.
• Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment where kids can thrive.
• Communicate with parents via the Playground App.
• Adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children under 13 is beneficial but not required.
• Physically fit to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and reliability are essential.
