Job Overview - After School Program Staff

We are hiring multiple positions for our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year located at Northville Elementary School in Northville, NY. Positions include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework support.
• Provide a safe, healthy, fun environment and act as a positive role model.
• Communicate daily with parents using the Playground App.
• Adhere to state guidelines, program policies, and school rules.
• Some roles include management tasks such as attendance, registration, and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children under 13 is preferred, though not required. Candidates must be medically fit and free of communicable diseases. A friendly, upbeat and reliable attitude is essential, along with the physical ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
