About Healthy Kids Programs

Position Overview

The After School Program Staff position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at Romulus Central School in Romulus, NY. Roles include Substitutes, Assistants, Group Leaders, Supervisors, and Directors.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework completion.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents through the Playground App.
  • Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school policies.
  • Some roles include management tasks such as attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Medically fit and free from communicable diseases.
  • Warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and prompt.
  • Capable of physical work including bending, stretching, lifting up to 50 lbs.
