Position Details

This position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at Fonda Fultonville Elementary School in Fonda, NY. The After School Program team roles include Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, and Directors. The program is part-time and non-exempt with pay ranging from $15.50 to $17.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, group activities, and homework completion).
  • Create a safe, healthy, and fun environment as a positive role model.
  • Communicate daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Follow state guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and host school rules.
  • For certain positions, manage attendance records, registration, and staffing.

Requirements

  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with children under 13 is a plus but not required.
  • Medically fit as confirmed by a doctor, with no communicable diseases.
  • Strong people skills; friendly, upbeat, and professional.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
