Job Overview
This position is for the After School Program at Fonda Fultonville Elementary School in Fonda, NY for the 2025-2026 school year. Multiple roles are available including Substitutes, Assistants, Supervisors, and Directors. The job is part-time and non-exempt.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum including fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and group activities.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment for children while being a positive role model.
- Communicate daily with parents via the Playground App.
- Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school guidelines.
- For some positions, manage attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications include being 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent. While experience with children under 13 is a plus, passion and potential matter most. Candidates must be medically fit, communicable disease-free, and physically capable of bending, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
