Overview
The Identity & Access Governance Analyst plays a critical role in strengthening HealthEquity’s enterprise IAM Governance program with direct accountability for SOX-aligned access controls, certifications, and audit readiness. Positioned at the intersection of security, compliance, and technology, this role offers high visibility and the opportunity to significantly reduce risk across a growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- IAM Governance & SOX Ownership: Manage User Access Certifications for SOX in-scope systems, partner with Compliance and Audit teams, define and maintain roles and entitlements, and develop governance metrics.
- IAM Program: Act as a subject matter expert, support automated access administration (SSO, directory services), lead new application onboarding, and resolve access exceptions.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between business partners, application owners, and technical teams to drive understanding of IAM standards and certification requirements.
- Process & Continuous Improvement: Create audit-ready documentation, identify improvements in data quality and control effectiveness, and support UAT cycles for new IAM capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, strong understanding of IAM principles, experience with SOX-aligned access reviews, excellent documentation skills, and effective communication.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with IAM platforms like SailPoint, Oracle Identity Manager, or Okta, skill in defining roles in large enterprises, familiarity with security and regulatory frameworks, and CISSP or similar certifications.
