Overview
The Corporate Compliance Analyst II provides support to the HealthEquity Compliance Program by assuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This role supports the creation of procedures, compliance audits, issues management, compliance training, marketing reviews, and triages regulatory inquires. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain policy and regulatory alignment. This position plays a key role in safeguarding the organization's integrity through proactive compliance monitoring and reporting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Champion the management of the annual compliance training program, from planning through execution and reporting.
- Assist in developing procedures and help maintain the centralized policy repository.
- Support internal compliance reviews across business units.
- Review and approve marketing materials to ensure compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Assist with the intake, analysis, and resolution of compliance-related complaints, as well as escalation trends or risks as appropriate.
- Help administer all issues within the compliance management system.
- Support the creation of compliance risk assessments.
- Respond to routine compliance inquiries from clients and internal/external stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex or high-risk compliance questions to senior compliance staff as appropriate.
- Analyze compliance data to identify trends and potential compliance issues under supervision (not limited to complaints; also includes controls, issues, etc.).
- Document triage decisions with rationale for escalation, assignment, or resolution pathways.
This position requires the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise sound judgment when supporting compliance matters.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of certification(s) and experience, is required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CRCM, CCEP, HSAS, CFC) are a plus.
- 2+ years minimum of relevant experience supporting employee benefits compliance, or equivalent experience with employee benefits issues, is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate above-average knowledge of consumer-driven benefits, including Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Arrangements (FSAs), COBRA, qualified transportation fringe benefits, and cafeteria plans.
- Basic data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Embraces emerging technologies including AI solutions, to optimize compliance operations and adapt to evolving industry practices.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
- Ability to work independently to manage multiple ongoing projects and ensure timely completion.
- Proactive communication and alignment with compliance program initiatives.
- Must have intellectual curiosity.
- Occasional travel to attend training or meetings may be required.
Salary Range
$30.53 To $37.98 / hour

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:

Onboarding & Travel
This is a remote role, with an in-person onboarding training component. New team members must participate in Trailhead, HealthEquity’s immersive onboarding experience. Trailhead is designed to foster meaningful connections, support your integration into the organization, and equip you with a strong understanding of our business. Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role. Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations.
This role may begin with a virtual, self-paced onboarding experience, followed by a mandatory onsite Trailhead session at a later date.
