Join Health Promotion Board and help shape a healthier Singapore. As part of the Youth Preventive Services Group, our mission is to drive behavioral change through digital health services including child and youth health screening, dental services, and lifestyle habit building.

What You Will Be Working On

In the role of Senior Manager Conversational Designer, you will design and develop conversational flows and dialogue systems for HPB's digital health platforms. You will create user intents, system responses, and branching logic for chatbots and virtual agents. Your responsibilities include:

  • Designing multi-turn conversations with intelligent follow-up questions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end conversational systems.
  • Integrating advanced AI technologies including Large Language Models and prompt engineering.
  • Establishing testing frameworks and conducting usability research.
  • Developing governance standards and training materials, managing vendor relationships.
  • Contributing to HPB's conversational AI strategy and digital transformation initiatives.

What We Are Looking For

An ideal candidate is dynamic and innovative, with a background in conversation design, conversational AI, or related digital interaction fields. Requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Digital Design, Communications, Psychology, or related disciplines.
  • At least 3+ years in conversation/dialogue design with a strong portfolio.
  • Experience with conversational AI/NLU platforms and prompt engineering.
  • Strong analytical and user-centric thinking with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work cohesively in dynamic teams and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
  • Awareness of accessibility, bias, privacy, and ethical concerns in AI systems.
