Job Overview

The DevOps Engineer plays a critical role in bridging software development and IT operations. In this role, you will design and manage automated systems for software deployment, testing, and infrastructure provisioning. You will work closely with developers, system administrators, and various teams to enhance the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage automated deployment systems
• Collaborate to implement cost-effective cloud solutions in Azure and AWS
• Automate infrastructure deployment using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Maintain security controls and compliance protocols with FortiGate firewalls
• Support CI/CD pipeline improvements and system troubleshooting

Technical Environment

Utilize tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and Azure (Virtual Machines, Site Recovery, Monitor). Experience in managing both production and non-production environments is essential.

Essential Qualifications

• 4-5+ years in a DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure role
• Strong AWS and Azure cloud management experience
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance

Additional Requirements

This is a full-time onsite position in Wixom, MI with a regular 40-hour work week and occasional evening/weekend work. U.S. work authorization is required.
