Lead Registered Nurse
Health Here is seeking a dedicated Lead Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care across the wellness-illness spectrum for retired Sisters, including those in acute, chronic, or terminal phases of illness. You will utilize your knowledge of infection control, safety, body mechanics, and effective communication, considering age-related differences when delivering or delegating care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to retired Sisters.
- Manage and delegate nursing tasks effectively.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Interpret medical records and physician orders.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Current RN licensure in Texas.
- At least one year of gerontology experience (preferred).
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of psychotropic and geriatric medications.
