Job Description

Operations and Process Manager for Input Management at HDI Group

As an Operations and Process Manager for Input Management, you will take on key staff responsibilities for the leadership of two operational areas: Input Management (for all risk carriers of HDI Deutschland) and Operations (for the private sector of property insurance). This role involves significant process analysis and optimization within the Input Management area.

You will be instrumental in preparing documentation for board meetings and supporting the continuous development of organizational structures and workflows in collaboration with the leadership team. A crucial part of your role will be the independent conception and implementation of change management measures, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new processes.

Furthermore, you will actively analyze and optimize business processes within Input Management, contributing to its redesign from both a technical/process and organizational perspective. You will also support the Head of IPM in creating vital analyses and reports, providing data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform staff functions for the leadership of Input Management and Private Property Insurance Operations.
  • Conduct process analyses and optimization specifically within Input Management.
  • Prepare essential documents for executive board meetings.
  • Support the evolution of organizational and procedural structures with the leadership team.
  • Independently conceptualize and implement change management initiatives.
  • Analyze and optimize business processes within the Input Management sector.
  • Contribute to the redesign of Input Management (technical, procedural, and organizational).
  • Assist the Head of IPM with analyses and reporting tasks.

Your Profile

  • Completed business administration degree or training as an insurance and finance clerk with further business qualifications.
  • Practical experience in project work and project leadership, including solid project management knowledge.
  • Proven experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes within insurance or banking claims processing.
  • High degree of initiative, resilience, and constructive critical thinking.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong analytical, conceptual, and methodological skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, persuasive demeanor, assertiveness, and decision-making ability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
