SAP Finance and Controlling Analyst
H.B. Fuller is seeking a motivated SAP RTR FICO Analyst to join their global team. This role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting the SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) module. You will collaborate with Finance, Shared Services, and IT teams to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions, resolve complex issues, and drive process improvements. The position also supports ongoing system enhancements, ensures alignment with global standards, and recommends new solutions for improved system performance and business outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support SAP Finance and Controlling modules, including Controlling (CO) for Product Costing, Costing based COPA, Internal Orders, Cost Centers, and Profit Centers, with integration to PP.
- Manage General Ledger (GL) functions, including master data, chart of accounts, financial transactions, reporting, and period-end close. Exposure to Plants Abroad in Europe is desired.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including vendor invoicing (OpenText), payments, reporting, year-end close, MM integration, and Inbound Electronic Invoicing in Europe.
- Support Accounts Receivable & Credit functions, including billing, collections, payments, reporting, FSCM processes, and integration with SD, Outbound Electronic Invoicing, and Vertex.
- Configure banking interfaces and file formats (BAI2, MT940, CAMT) and coordinate with external platforms (Kyriba, HighRadius) for Cash Application, including Lockbox.
- Manage Fixed Assets processes, including accounting, master data, transactional processes, reporting, and close processes.
- Support FSCM for Credit Management and Collections, including configuration, deployment, and day-to-day troubleshooting.
- Perform data loads/migrations, resolve issues, implement enhancements, and collaborate with the technical team on WRICEFs. Support go-lives and upgrades.
- Assist with Miscellaneous tasks such as Substitutions, Validations, and support upgrades and rollouts. Experience with global implementations in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East is beneficial.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA Private Cloud 2021 or higher with FIORI.
- 5+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, preferably in a Process Industry (Chemical or Pharma).
- Strong configuration experience across FI (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking) and CO (Product Costing, Material Ledger, Costing based COPA).
- Experience with SAP integrations (SD, MM, PP).
- Knowledge of financial processes, reporting, and period-end close.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and business acumen.
