Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Category Manager role based in Mumbai. The Category Manager will lead procurement strategies, manage category growth, and build strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities include conducting market analysis, negotiating supplier contracts, optimizing product portfolios, and collaborating with sales and procurement teams to drive profitability and streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Category Management and expertise in optimizing product categories to meet organizational goals
- Strong Analytical Skills to assess market trends, analyze data, and make informed decisions
- Experience in Contract Negotiation and striking mutually beneficial agreements with suppliers
- Knowledge of Procurement processes and strategies
- Ability to collaborate with Sales teams to develop and implement category strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant work experience in category management or procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields; MBA is a plus
