The Role
- Contribute to the development of secure, mission-critical applications for federal law enforcement
- Apply foundational programming skills to implement reliable, maintainable software
- Work collaboratively with senior developers, forensic specialists, and crypto SMEs
- Gain hands-on experience with modern development practices, including clean code and DevSecOps pipelines
- Troubleshoot issues and support system integration tasks
- Assist with software requirements, design, testing, and maintenance activities
- Software development experience with knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals, secure coding, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to meet eligibility requirements for a Secret clearance and obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) suitability
