Service Desk Help Desk Specialist at ABB

You'll grow your expertise while contributing to critical power solutions, working within a 24/7 on-call rotation and with potential for travel.
The Role and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and problem-solving via remote or on-site service.
- Execute technical support across various service categories, including installation and commissioning.
- Manage customer relationships and maintain regular contact with key clients.
- Create and modify documentation like procedures and methods for business/customer needs.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for after-hours technical support.
- Travel up to 20% for site escalations and training opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology with 1+ years of experience servicing critical power equipment OR
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with 3+ years' experience servicing critical power equipment OR
- 5+ years equivalent work/military experience servicing critical power equipment (UPS, STS, PDU, etc.).
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to provide technical consulting on service solutions to management and customers.
- Candidates must have work authorization for ABB in the US.
