Senior Data Engineer
We're collaborating with our client on this exciting opportunity. Join a fast-growing digital health provider building a modern data platform from scratch, working with complex healthcare data and making a real impact from day one.
The Role
- Build and maintain Python-based batch ingestion pipelines from diverse healthcare systems
- Work extensively with Databricks on AWS to transform and model data
- Contribute to data modelling and transformations using dbt
- Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to support reporting and insights via PowerBI
- Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and reliability in a regulated environment
What You'll Need
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer with strong Python skills
- Expertise in AWS and Databricks for data engineering solutions
- Experience with dbt for data modelling and transformations
- Ability to work autonomously with complex, sometimes messy, healthcare data
- Understanding of data quality, governance, and reliability in regulated environments
