Overview

Comcast’s FreeWheel division seeks a Senior Backend Data Analyst at Haystack in London. This role supports and evolves data platforms across a global ad-tech ecosystem.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data solutions within Snowflake
  • Build and optimize SQL, ETL pipelines and data workflows
  • Support BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, and internal tools
  • Collaborate with product, analytics, and engineering teams
  • Improve data quality, governance and system performance
  • Present solutions and best practices to technical and non-technical teams

Technical Environment

  • Data Warehouse: Snowflake
  • Languages: SQL, Python or R
  • ETL Tools: Fivetran or similar
  • BI Tools: Looker, Tableau, Power BI
  • AdTech / FreeWheel products experience is a plus

Requirements

  • 4+ years in data engineering or backend data analysis
  • Strong SQL development skills
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes and BI systems
  • Knowledge of Snowflake architecture and best practices
  • Effective stakeholder communication and presentation skills
  • AdTech, media or digital advertising experience is a bonus
  • Fluency in French is a plus
