The Role
- Develop and optimize IT systems using sound engineering principles to support critical mission areas.
- Translate real-world national security needs into technical specifications and secure network architectures.
- Lead the transition and evolution of IT systems, ensuring seamless integration of new hardware and software.
- Manage project lifecycles including scope, scheduling, cost analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships to ensure engineering solutions meet mission-critical goals.
What You'll Need
- Strong foundational knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including hardware, software, and secure networking.
- Proven ability to support the planning, development, and operational maintenance of complex IT environments.
- Familiarity with Project Management functions and the ability to track milestones and risks.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (Bachelor’s degree required).
- Bonus points for Security+, Network+, or experience with Information Assurance (IA) and DoD acquisition processes.
