Are you a highly organised and proactive Junior Project Manager eager to make a significant impact within a major public sector programme? This is a prime opportunity to support senior project managers across diverse workstreams, gaining invaluable exposure to large-scale transformation initiatives while rapidly developing your project delivery expertise.
The Role of a Junior Project Manager
- Support Senior Project Managers in coordinating and delivering multiple project workstreams
- Maintain programme plans, RAID logs, reporting packs, and other essential project artefacts
- Assist with project governance, status reporting, and comprehensive documentation
- Monitor progress against key milestones and ensure effective management of dependencies
- Engage actively with stakeholders across technical and business teams to ensure seamless alignment
What You'll Need
- Essential public sector project or programme experience
- Strong working knowledge of project and programme management principles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Prince2)
- Proven experience in supporting or coordinating multiple related projects
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to expertly manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- Excellent daily rate of up to £310 (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
- Initial 6-month contract with potential for extension
