Frontend Developer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
Provide subject matter expertise for front-end design and development tasks. Support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Perform engineering tasks including creating technical design drawings, mockups, and wireframes. Plan and implement modifications to Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and optimize UI elements. Optimize system navigation practices and elements to facilitate operator ease of use. Engage in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.
What You'll Need
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or Master's degree substituting for 2 years of experience.
- 7 years of experience in the functional area, with 7 years in object-oriented and scripted languages.
- 3 years of recent experience in front-end web design and development.
- Experience with bug tracking software (Jira) and version control (GitLab).
- Proficiency with at least five of the following: Apache, Ember, JavaScript, Java, Node.
