The Role
- Lead the implementation of robust metadata governance frameworks for structured and unstructured data in dynamic cloud-based environments.
- Drive data lineage tracking and ensure seamless metadata synchronization across Data Catalogs, ESRI Kubernetes, and enterprise metadata repositories.
- Champion the utilization of OpenLineage, Apache Atlas, and other advanced tools for comprehensive metadata and data lineage management.
- Enforce strict compliance with DoD metadata policies and NSG tradecraft standards, particularly for sensitive geospatial datasets.
- Collaborate with clients to deeply understand their data needs, translating complex questions into data-driven solutions that inform strategic decisions.
What You'll Need
- Proven experience in implementing metadata governance frameworks in cloud environments.
- Expertise in tracking data lineage and ensuring metadata synchronization across various platforms (Data Catalog, ESRI Kubernetes).
- Hands-on experience with OpenLineage, Apache Atlas, or similar metadata and data lineage management tools.
- Strong understanding and experience in enforcing compliance with DoD metadata policies and NSG tradecraft standards for geospatial datasets.
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, GIS, or 5+ years of relevant experience in data governance, metadata management, or geospatial data integration.
