We're working with a global leader in digital transformation and high-tech engineering on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a data-driven problem solver to bridge the gap between complex software backends and real-world engineering assets.

In this high-impact role, you will dive deep into SQL databases and custom GUI frontends to ensure data integrity across critical engineering projects. You will leverage your technical toolkit—ranging from PowerShell scripting to advanced Excel manipulation—to troubleshoot systemic issues and streamline digital workflows for global clients.

The Role

• Extract, manipulate, and audit complex datasets using SQL queries and bespoke extraction tools to maintain system health.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting on custom software projects, identifying bugs within GUI frontends and database backends.
• Develop and peer-review SQL scripts for data correction, ensuring all system information aligns perfectly with physical engineering paperwork.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and manage digital assets, including aircraft components and engines, within the production system.
• Execute manual testing phases to validate software updates and data integrity fixes before deployment.

What You'll Need

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and script writing.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to handle large datasets using complex formulae and lookup functions.
• Solid technical background in Engineering or IT, with an understanding of how APIs and User Interfaces interact with databases.
• Familiarity with command line tools and scripting (PowerShell) for navigating and automating technical environments.
• Exposure to modern development environments, specifically Microsoft Azure and GitHub, is highly desirable.
