The Role of a Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Design and maintain SQL-based ETL pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform large datasets from Navy legacy systems.
  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract data from Oracle or SQL server databases.
  • Automate data workflows and perform advanced data wrangling using Python or R.
  • Develop interactive and dynamic dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to track critical operational metrics.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction or process improvement.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.
  • Experience with Python (Pandas or NumPy) or R for data manipulation.
  • Strong SQL skills, including joins, window functions, and stored procedures.
  • Active Secret clearance.
