SVP Project Controls Lead at Hays
Working for an Internationally recognized, world-leading Professional Services Firm – you will provide Industry leading expertise and strategic leadership to clients. For this role – you will be VP/ SVP level for the Project Controls Team and act as a SVP Project Controls Lead.
Uniquely, this role can be based out of any of the 500+ offices they have in the United States so applications are welcome from all states.
Your new role
As the SVP Project Controls Lead – you will have 25-50 Direct Reports across various Design & Construction phases & projects scattered across the US.
You will hold a blend of exceptional stakeholder management skills, whilst also being extremely strong in scheduling, leadership, mentorship and also business development, where needed.
Project size and scope will be into the $Billions of Dollars so experience of size and scope of this nature will be key.
Day to day, you will effectively manage and allocate resources, push for continuous improvement and drive the schedule for a range of Programs spanning from Commercial Construction, Civil Construction and including Power, Energy, Environmental and Federal Projects.
You will be the subject matter expert on scheduling and be expected to engage with all internal Project Leaders and external decision makers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Engineering or Construction or equivalent experience
- 15+ years in developing, managing and reviewing Project and Program Schedules
- Spend and Scope – Ideally large-scale with costs rising into the $Billions of Dollars
- Ability to manage stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
- Software = Primavera P6
