International Media Buyer Assistant

Havas International, the global hub of Havas Media, is one of the world's largest communication groups. We are responsible for the management, coordination, and implementation of media campaigns for major global advertisers such as Hermès, Michelin, Meetic, The European Commission, CapGemini, Paypal, Orange, Carrefour, and BNPP. Our department comprises 100 professionals from around the world, all driven by a shared passion for international communication. We are an agile, human-sized entity that navigates between consulting, media strategy, coordination, and implementation across all media, both offline and digital.

We are seeking our future International Media Buyer Assistant for several accounts communicating both in France and internationally. Your missions will include developing media plans based on target audiences, campaign planning, judicious purchasing of advertising spaces, and evaluating campaign effectiveness. Our scope of intervention has no geographical limits and covers all online and offline media.

Your Future Challenges

Within the international multi-media buying expertise team, the intern will participate, alongside media buyers, in implementing media strategy for clients and will be involved in following campaigns from start to finish, from purchase to final assessment:

  • Selection of media based on campaign objectives and media performance analysis.
  • Editorial and financial negotiations with media agencies.
  • Implementation and optimization of media planning.
  • Online launch and tracking of digital campaigns.
  • Campaign monitoring.
  • Market watch and advertising agency news.
  • Campaign reporting/assessment and results analysis.

Your Profile

Experience:
  • A first internship in media is appreciated (in an agency, media company, or with an advertiser).
Education and Languages:
  • Bac + 4 / +5 (Business school / Communication school / Advertising school or university).
  • Fluent English is essential / a second language is a plus.
Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of offline/online media planning is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Pack Office (PPT/Excel).
  • Aptitude for numbers.
Soft Skills:
  • Organized and rigorous.
  • Takes initiative / Curious.
  • Multi-tasking, flexible, adaptable.
  • Team spirit / Collaborative.

Modalities

  • Convention-based internship.
  • Duration of 6 months.
  • Located in Puteaux, Havas Village (Metro 1, Esplanade de la Défense).
  • Starting February/March 2026.
