The Role: Head of IT

You will lead Haus’s IT function, owning systems, identity, and endpoint management for a distributed workforce. You will scale the team and establish secure-by-default practices while partnering with Security, Engineering, and People leaders to keep Haus fast and safe.

What You’ll Do

  • Define a 12–24 month IT strategy roadmap including identity, device, collaboration, and network management.
  • Hire, coach, and develop high-performing IT engineers and analysts with clear SLAs and KPIs.
  • Architect and administer systems such as SSO/MFA, lifecycle automation, and access governance using Okta/Azure AD, SCIM, and JIT.
  • Drive endpoint management with zero-touch provisioning, MDM, hardening, and patching for macOS and Windows using Kandji, Jamf, or Intune.
  • Establish ITSM practices, optimize incident and change management workflows, and build self-service resources.
  • Implement zero-trust security measures, least-privilege access, and device compliance for audit readiness (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
  • Manage SaaS portfolios, negotiate contracts, and monitor budgets and tool utilization.
  • Oversee collaboration stacks including Google Workspace, O365, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, and Notion.
  • Automate employee onboarding/offboarding and enforce periodic access reviews.
  • Ensure business continuity through backups, incident responses, and disaster recovery testing.
  • Build dashboards to report on asset inventory, compliance, SLA adherence, and risk posture.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+ years in corporate IT with 5+ years in leadership roles in growth-stage B2B SaaS companies.
  • Deep expertise in identity, MDM, endpoint security, and SaaS administration.
  • Proficiency with Okta/Azure AD, Google Workspace/O365, Kandji/Jamf/Intune, and EDR tools like CrowdStrike or Defender.
  • Strong ITSM background using Jira Service Management or ServiceNow with measurable results.
  • Experience with SOC 2/ISO 27001 audits and strong vendor/security review skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with an empathetic leadership style that fosters accountability.
  • Nice-to-have skills include network fundamentals (SASE/ZTNA), BYOD/COPE policy design, data loss prevention, and procurement/finops experience.
