About the role
Construction Manager Korean Speaking
Hatch is seeking Korean speaking Construction Managers for a site in Clarksville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for executing project assignments, coordinating and managing engineering and construction services for projects across the USA and ensuring the projects are completed on time and on budget. Lead assigned projects and ensure the client is satisfied with scope of work and schedule. Oversee construction management services for water and sewer projects including construction and rehabilitation of water treatment and storage facilities, heavy industrial projects.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure satisfactory completion of construction activities with project schedule.
- Establish and maintain a positive relationship with the client.
- Manage Field Representatives and Project Managers.
- Review shop drawings, render design drawings, and supervise the build phase.
- Troubleshoot all phases of heavy construction and operations work.
- Schedule and run/attend job meetings.
- Generate pay applications, work directives, change orders, cost summary estimates, bid tabs, and project cost schedules.
- Schedule contractors and required equipment.
- Oversee onsite quality including, inspection of work, sign-offs, review of subcontractors’ QA/QC programs and coordinate with subcontractors’ Quality supervisors.
- Authorized to resolve onsite questions and use judgment to determine if engineering input is required.
- Communicate onsite engineering questions to project management as needed.
Education And Experience
- 10+ years of experience in Construction Management.
- Heavy industrial or steel industry experience is preferred.
- Candidates with extensive site-based, multi-discipline construction management experience working on large-scale EPCM and EPC projects is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Technical Degree preferred.
Position reports to the Regional Manager.
