About the AI Data Analyst Role at Hatch AI

What We’re Looking For
- Engagement & Motivation: Actively participates, asks questions, shows interest in the work and learning new applications and agents. Reliable weekday availability (7–11pm, NZ-adjacent time) is important.
- Receptiveness to Feedback / Trainability: Takes feedback constructively, quickly incorporates it, and proactively seeks clarification.
- Communication & English Proficiency: Demonstrates clear written English, can explain reasoning naturally, and communicates regularly and promptly with the team lead.
- Attention to Detail / Conscientiousness: Follows written instructions precisely, spots inconsistencies, and adheres to guidelines without cutting corners.
- Basic Computer Literacy & App Comfort: Confidently navigates web applications, can search/filter records, and handles multiple simple tasks in new user interfaces.
- Integrity (No LLM/ChatGPT Misuse): Completes work independently without relying on LLMs for justifications or application answers.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining quality standards: Establish what “good” looks like for AI agents by creating rulebooks and job descriptions.
- Designing prompts: Guide AI agents through tasks in various environments with logical, clear, and efficient instructions.
- Reviewing demonstrations and data: Ensure AI learning aligns perfectly, identifying inconsistencies before they impact the model.
