About the Role: Senior Tunnel Consultant at Haskoning

Due to current and expected growth, Haskoning is seeking an enthusiastic and eager Senior Mobility & Infrastructure Consultant to strengthen our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to various mobility and infrastructure projects, working alongside highly experienced colleagues to develop yourself further within a dynamic work environment. Simultaneously, you will support younger colleagues with training and their personal growth and development in the field. While you can be broadly deployed, we are specifically looking for reinforcement in the field of Tunnels. Haskoning is an active player in the Netherlands and abroad in the field of TTI (tunnel technical installations), including both Replacement and Renovation as well as New Construction projects.

What you will do as a Senior Tunnel Consultant

• Function as a Design Leader and/or Technical Manager on projects.
• Support the realization of designs for technical installations for road and rail tunnel projects.
• Contribute to establishing maintenance and renovation requirements for tunnel technical installations.
• Collaborate on multidisciplinary projects, addressing both technical and process-related aspects.
• Assist with project management tasks and the drafting of contract documents.
• Organize training sessions and masterclasses to further develop the knowledge and skills of our colleagues.

Where you will work

Daily, over 200 people within Haskoning are involved in improving existing infrastructure and devising technical solutions for infrastructure such as bridges, locks, tunnels, and weir complexes. You will join a very enthusiastic team of professionals, with a choice of Amsterdam, Delft, Amersfoort, or Nijmegen as your base location. Within the team, there is a very positive atmosphere where everyone is willing to help each other, and collaboration is central every day.

What you bring

• More than 10 years of experience in infrastructural projects, of which at least 5 years of experience with the realization of designs and/or contracts for tunnel technical installations.
• Experience with project management, technical management, or design work is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a structured way of working. You also enjoy building your own internal and external network.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and a true team player, enjoying being the central point and giving shape to new, challenging assignments.
• Willingness to work on projects in both the Netherlands and abroad.
