What you'll do as a Constructeur Ondergronds Bouwen

To begin, you will start in our team for the Oosterweel project. You will work at least two days a week at our Rotterdam office, and beyond that, you can work from home or one of our other offices if you wish. In this project, you will contribute to the development of Antwerp's new and entirely underground ring road. In terms of scale, it's one of the largest underground infrastructure works in Western Europe, involving a budget of approximately 3 to 4 billion euros. Imagine the limited space in this Belgian metropolis, the number of sensitive structures in the project area, and the complexity of phasing in such a busy city. This presents plenty of interesting and challenging issues that you will sometimes solve independently, and often within a multidisciplinary team.

What you'll bring

You are a true team player. Collaborating with diverse professionals within and outside your team is key to successful solutions for complex issues. You are also a good listener, can give and receive constructive feedback, and communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Furthermore:

• You have a university degree (WO) in civil engineering in a relevant specialization.
• You have at least five years of experience as a Constructeur Ondergronds Bouwen and an affinity for geotechnics.
• You speak and write English well.
