Job Summary

The Manager Financial IS & BI - Cost Accounting at Harris Health leads system-level activities within a large integrated delivery system. This role directly influences information delivered to the Board of Managers and Commissioners Court, as well as state and national surveys. It involves managing complex projects, implementing Finance information systems, and developing decision support and BI tools in close collaboration with IT. The position is key in designing and integrating systems like Allscripts Enterprise Analyst, PeopleSoft, Trendstar, EMR/Epic, Clarity, SAP Business Objects, and Oracle SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead decision support initiatives and finance information systems implementation.
  • Collaborate with IT on BI tool development and system integration.
  • Manage cross-functional projects impacting business results.
  • Support data integration, quality, and governance processes.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or Healthcare Administration (Master’s preferred: MBA, MS, MHA, MPA).

Experience: Minimum 7 years in healthcare informatics, decision support, and financial analysis with at least 2 years of management experience.

Systems & Skills: Experience with Allscripts Enterprise Analyst, PeopleSoft, Trendstar, EMR/Epic, Clarity, SAP Business Objects, Oracle SQL, and advanced MS Office (especially Excel and Access). Excellent communication, analytical, design, and problem solving skills are required.
