About the Role: Finance Implementation and Support Consultant
Medisolution, a subsidiary of Harris Computer, is seeking a dedicated Finance Implementation and Support Consultant with a robust background in Financial processing and reporting, specifically within the Healthcare industry. In this pivotal remote role, you will bridge the gap between clients and the development team, ensuring seamless implementation and providing top-tier technical support.
As the frontline point of contact, you will deliver high-quality, friendly, and prompt technical assistance, focusing on client satisfaction and timely issue resolution. This position demands an analytical mind, a passion for detail, and a natural curiosity to navigate complex challenges and ambiguity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to clients, ensuring contractual obligations are met and maintaining high customer satisfaction and timely resolutions.
- Communicate application changes and occasional regulatory/legislative updates to clients.
- Implement new customers from initiation to completion, including setup analysis, testing, and training.
- Offer ongoing customer support, troubleshooting issues, and providing application and Excel-based reporting training to new staff.
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date training documentation and user guides.
- Assist with business development activities such as proposal development, statements of work, and presentations.
- Participate actively in project planning and implementation phases.
- Develop deep functional and technical understanding of applications to address related issues and questions effectively.
- Troubleshoot software and implementation issues, providing workarounds and functional guidance with quick turnaround via telephone, email, and ticketing system.
- Utilize the ticketing system to review, prioritize, update, and resolve tickets with complete and accurate documentation.
- Diagnose and document software issues/bugs, performing appropriate resolutions and collaborating with technical support and software development teams.
- Contribute to the design of new product features alongside the software development team.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
What We Are Looking For
- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial processing experience, with a strong understanding of business processes and reporting requirements.
- Proven ability to handle client inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
- Broad range of computer skills, including report writing, spreadsheet, statistics applications, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience using SQL or similar data modeling tools.
- Superior oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing competing priorities and timelines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Previous experience with Finance systems, reporting, and workflows within the healthcare industry (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management).
- Experience and understanding of ERP systems.
- Knowledge of dashboard reporting.
- Thorough understanding of software concepts, interfaces, and technology.
- Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT).
