About The Role

As Counsel – Privacy, Security & AI Office, you will guide product and AI compliance, support global privacy and data protection strategy, and shape the company’s approach to responsible and ethical data use. You will advise senior leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure data practices comply with global legal and regulatory guidelines including emerging AI governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI: Develop AI Governance Program, draft policies, and support internal awareness campaigns.
  • Product Compliance: Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evaluate privacy and AI compliance risks and frameworks.
  • Privacy & Data Protection Legal Strategy: Lead legal analysis on global data protection laws, advise on lawful data processing, and drive privacy compliance programs.
  • Audits, Monitoring & Regulatory Readiness: Support or lead responses to audits, regulator inquiries, and due diligence requests.

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with 6–10+ years of legal experience focused on privacy, data protection, and technology law. Must have deep understanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and global privacy frameworks. Preferred experience with FedRamp, PCI DSS, ISO frameworks and certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, and AIGP. Direct experience with AI legal and regulatory frameworks is a plus.
