Overview

The Manager - Human Resources at Hard Rock Hotel New York is responsible for leading human resources and training initiatives. This strategic role involves supporting the hotel by advocating for and inspiring team achievement while harmonizing culture, mission, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Leading people and managing processes to meet business goals

  • Managing labor relations, workplace safety, and compliance issues

  • Managing disciplinary processes, exit interviews, and HR policies
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and brand standards

Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in human resources and training with at least 3 years in a leadership role. A degree or diploma in Human Resources or Hospitality Management (or equivalent experience) is required. Experience in luxury hotels is preferred.

Skills

Key skills include effective leadership, high energy, strong communication, numerical reasoning, and proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office and hotel-specific platforms. Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
