What's the position?
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our dynamic team, focusing on delivering exceptional sports betting and casino gaming experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality assurance, deep technical expertise, and a proactive approach to ensuring the highest standards of product performance and functionality. This role requires collaborative work across teams in a fast-paced, complex environment, alongside mentoring junior team members and leading quality initiatives.
Responsibilities of a Manual QA Engineer:
- Participate in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure product quality.
- Review and analyze product and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies.
- Collaborate with QA and development teams to create detailed test plans and test cases.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify and document issues.
- Report and manage bugs, assisting in troubleshooting.
- Monitor health check metrics to ensure product stability.
- Work closely with Product and Development teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to QA Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Become a subject matter expert by thoroughly understanding our application(s).
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members in best practices, tools, and troubleshooting.
- Take ownership of testing strategy and execution for complex features or modules.
- Act as the primary QA point of contact in cross-functional discussions and planning sessions.

- Mastery in using QA tools (e.g., Proxyman, Charles, DevTools, Postman) and emulators.
- Mid-level knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Thorough understanding of test management software and the QA role throughout the SDLC.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong decision-making abilities, especially under tight deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven time management skills.
